Welcome from the Booster President

            Welcome to the Edmond North Orchestra Boosters!

This is our family’s fifth year to be involved with ENO. We

have thoroughly enjoyed our involvement with this

fantastic orchestra, and we are incredibly excited as we

move into a new chapter of ENO’s history! This year should

bring many new changes as well as many new opportunities

for our students and our parents.

            One of our most important tasks as ENO Boosters is

fundraising. With our monetary support, we help send

students to summer music camps. We help bring in

phenomenal musicians to teach sectionals, providing

focused learning opportunities to the different instruments in our orchestra. We help provide needed classroom supplies, and last but not least, we help fund “fun” events – cookie trays for parties during tutorial, nachos for NCHO, and ice cream socials for incoming freshmen.

            In addition to our monetary support, we desperately need parental involvement to orchestrate our many events. We often need help with transportation to and from events. We need help serving food to our students during performances and our “fun” events. We need help sponsoring students with their trip fundraising activities. We need volunteers to help during concerts and fundraising events like our Car Wash, Mattress Sale, and Silent Auction.

            Most of all, we want to encourage you to become involved in any way that you can. We would love for you to join the ENO Boosters. We need your time and expertise, and we need you to invest in the lives of our wonderful orchestra students. Music is a universal language, and the gift of making music can never be taken from them. Please encourage them to play and find their musical voice. That investment will last a lifetime and impact generations to come.
